Overview Video What does this mean?
Geronimo is the debut model from Swope Guitars. A seasoned builder and veteran of two well regarded guitar institutions; Gibson Custom Shop and Sadowsky Guitars, Chris Swope has now branched out on his own with this very unique first offering.
What is a “Knock-Around” finish?
A Knock-Around is essentially a slight relic. The lacquer on the body is checked. There may be a bump or bruise here or there. The solid colors have a white undercoat which shows nicely when dinged. The bodies are glossy and the plastics are clean. While the headstock has a deep gloss the back of the neck is a thinner, satin finish. There is no lacquer above the fret tangs of the rosewood fingerboard. The edges of the fingerboard are blended nicely into the sides.
