Serial Number Video What does this mean?
2014 is the 10th Anniversary of the Gibson Custom Shop Chambered Historic Les Pauls, Wildwood Guitars is honored to celebrate these fine guitars with another Custom run of these beauties. Wildwood Guitars is proud to have been part of the initial design and launch of these historically relevant tone machines, we partnered with our friends at Dave’s Guitar, The Music Machine and the Gibson Custom Shop to introduce this innovative design to the world in 2004.
The special-design chambered body makes these guitars uber-lightweight, but also gives them a more vocal presentation and open voice. They retain the throttle and sustain of a solidbody Les Paul with just the right hint of an ES-335 and its inherent compresssion. The Chambered Reissues for 2014 have long studs and inserts, Hide Glue neck to body construction and all the fabulous features of the 2014 Historic Les Pauls, WITH the chambered body. We invite you to partake of these spectacular Les Pauls, another huge thank you to the fine folks at the Gibson Custom Shop for these inspired instruments.
