This instrument plays and sounds wonderful. It is in very good condition, Small ding on back, Small areas on treble and bass side of neck where lacquer is flaking off, Light scratches on headstock, Scratches on pickup covers from being played, Light checking on neck heel and also some checking on fret ends, which is something that will happen to all bound fingerboards over time, this is just cosmetic and cannot be felt when playing this beautiful instrument. L-5 was handmade by Gibson's Historic Division. Great feel to the neck with perfect neck angle and frets. Plays like a dream and has that big fat Gibson sound we all know and love. Comes with the original case that shows a large amount of wear.
