Fender Custom Shop Jazzmaster Guitars
A Fresh Alternative.
First introduced at the 1958 NAMM Show, the Jazzmaster was initially designed and marketed to jazz guitarists, but quickly gained an impressive following with surf rock guitarists in the early 60s. The offset waist design was originally intended to be played sitting down, a common playing position for jazz guitarists. However, the unique design, similar to that of the Jaguar, gained massive popularity, and this solid body alternative to a jazz box took on a whole new following. Wildwood Guitars is proud to honor this fresh alternative through our inventory of Fender Custom Shop Jazzmasters!
