Introducing the American Vintage Series "Thin Skin Nitro" Special Lacquer Series
Featuring lightweight bodies, a "Thin Skin" nitrocellulose lacquer finish (just like the Custom Shop does it), and 6105 fret wire, these instruments have all the vintage look and feel you've come to expect from Fender's American Vintage Series, plus the singing sustain and chime you get with taller, wider fret wire and a nitro finish. New Thin Skins expected for the Summer of 2012: • 1952 Telecasters with a Twisted Tele pickup in the neck and a Flat Pole Broadcaster pickup in the Bridge, 52 Medium "U" Neck Shape (averaging .891 1st fret - .933 12th fret), 9.5" Radius and 6105 Frets in a Butterscotch Finish.• 1952 Telecasters with a Duncan 59 Humbucker in the neck and a Flat Pole Broadcaster pickup in the Bridge, 52 Medium "U" Neck Shape (averaging .891 1st fret - .933 12th fret), 9.5" Radius and 6105 Frets in a Butterscotch Finish.
